What is IPM?

Updated: Jul 31, 2018

IPM refers to Integrated Pest Management, a broad pest control strategy that places focus on prevention and monitoring to reduce the need for heavy chemical treatments. Often we find that pests are only inside of a home due to an easily solved issue like spilled crumbs or unsealed gaps near doors and windows. Small, simple physical barriers and maintaining good sanitary practices can often solve pest issues before they even become a problem. IPM does not mean an abandonment of pesticide treatments, it simply means using pesticides where and when they will be most effective. We try everyday to keep IPM at the core of our pest control strategy, maintaining physical exclusions to keep critters out of your house, and notifying you promptly of potentially problematic conditions in or around your home.
